How to get the Data Drive in The Cycle Frontier Game
There are two ways to get the Data Drive in The Cycle Frontier game. The first way is to purchase it from the ICA Marker. You can purchase this when you are back at the orbit. You can also find these in briefcases, cabinets and the Fortuna 3 surface.
Once you purchase a data drive, it won’t be of much help because data drives need to be upgraded through the Rarity tiers until it becomes a legendary Data Drive. There is one quest in the game where you will be asked to upgrade the data drive. Always aim for upgrading the Data Drive until it reaches the Legendary stage, and you will be able to get the Krypto Marks as rewards.
How to upgrade the Data Drive in The Cycle Frontier Game
Once you have acquired the Data Drive, head over to one of the two Uplift Towers or the Comms Tower, the locations are marked on the map. Please get to the Console that connects these towers and insert the drive to upgrade it to the next tier.
For the first upgrade you will be needing to complete the Level 12 ICA Faction objective. This is the first upgrade from Common to uncommon and it will reward you with 260 FP, 19000 Krypto Marks and 31 ICA Strips. The total time needed to upgrade the drive is 30 seconds and from normal to epic it will take a total of 120 seconds.
When upgrading the Data drive you will see that the tower lights starts blinking which indicates that the player is present. Always scout your surroundings with a sniper to check for any enemies. You can alternatively bait for players by hiding from the console to take them out quickly when they are nearby. Once fully upgraded, you can take the Data Drive to the nearest Vendor and get a handful Krypto Marks for selling it.
